View NotesMike originally sent me this show via B&P on CDR's back in March 1999 (I met him at the show and asked if he could send me a copy).  Four years later I contacted him to see if he had any plans to circulate the show in lossless format - hoping that he would seed it without DAE in the lineage.  He responded that he didn't have time to take a look at it, but that he would send me clones of his tapes and I could go ahead and seed them.  When I reveived my clones in April 2003, I immediately noticed that the set 2 tape had pops and dropouts starting toward the end of Futch's solo.  Hoping it was just a bad clone, I emailed him to see what he could find.  Mike informed me:

"not a problem with the deck, problem with the tape.  I hoped it had come through clean ( I had to try taping it about 10 times ...).  I guess it didn't work."

So, set 1 was transferred without DAE, and set 2 used DAE since my 4 year old discs didn't have the problems that the master tape did. Equipment below.
