Taper Notes:
View NotesBand lineup: Amy Webber - vocals, tamborine & bell shaker Stephen McBean - vocals & guitar Jeremy Schmidt - keyboards Josh Wells - drums Brad Truax - bass This was an outdoor show that took place in the parking lot of the Waldorf Hotel on a Saturday evening. I recorded Black Mountain, Ladyhawk and Basketball. During the 1st couple of bands, I hung out in a parking lot across the alley with a friend where we watched the show for free, drinking beer and smoking weed. This turned out to be a great idea in hindsight because it was nearly impossible to get into the beer garden once you were inside. It was Black Mountain's 1st hometown show in almost 2 years, and they had a new bass player, Brad Truax, with them. Their set was so loud that I'm pretty sure the city got a few noise complaints that night! This was my 6th time seeing, hearing and recording the band live in the flesh, and the 2nd time doing so outside on Hastings Street in Vancouver. Thanks so much to Black Mountain, the Waldorf Hotel and everyone who shared their photos! PLEASE DO NOT SELL! Share it and trade freely. PLEASE DO NOT REMASTER! Use the equalizer on your audio player instead. PLEASE SUPPORT BLACK MOUNTAIN! Buy their music and go see them live!
