Easily the most relaxed Commodore show I've ever been to. Nobody checking ID at the doors, no searches, no barrier in front of the stage and fewer goons wandering around than usual. I stood about 5th or 6th row, dead centre on the dance floor. It was a pretty spacey atmosphere and the crowd didn't get too lively, making this recording really good. Most of the shows I see at this venue have more active crowds, making it impossible to record from as close up as I was this night. There's a bit of a story to how I got a ticket to this show; I was gifted a few Canuck tickets earlier in the year by a client and I don't like hockey...at all. So I posted online to friends offering them for free to whoever wanted them. A friend snatched the hockey tickets up right away and offered me a ticket to this sold out show in exchange. Great trade for me and they were happy to see the game as well.
