Bob Weir (Robert Hall Weir) - guitar, vox Bobby Cochran (Robert Gene Cochran Jr.) - guitar, vox Dave Garland (David Benton Garland) - keys, tenor saxophone, vox Alphonso Johnson (Alphonso Antonio Johnson) - bass, b.vox Billy Cobham (William Emanuel Cobham Jr.) - drums, percussion SIRMick Notes (2026-01): --This is not the whole show, just a selection that Capitol put together to fill an hour --This is a pitch corrected version of shnid 176011. Thanks to Joe B.Jones for his advice. --It sounds like the tuner may have wandered off of the signal slightly during first 2 or 3 tracks. There is scuffing noise and this has been removed as far as possible. --Several patches were necessary and they are as follows ----------track 4 5:40 > end ----------track 5 first 9.8 seconds, 4:06 > 5:05 ----------track 8 7:49 > end ----------The source used (for the patches) is a 2nd generation aud cassette, Thank you Mossa. --Thanks to Richard for lending me his tape. --transferred, edited and mastered --SIRMick --January 2026 vg NOTES (2026-01-20): --Big thanks to provided by Richard Lee for capturing & sharing this Bobby & the Midnites 1983 show & to SIRMick for his transfer, editing & mastering work on it & sharing it out to the masses & then doing it again for us with this pitch corrected version!! Absolutely Appreciated!! --I would surmise that the channels are backwards on this recording as I can clearly hear the hi-hat from the drums on the left whereas that should be on the right as Billy Cobham is a right handed drummer & so his hi-hat would be on the crowd's right, etc. Anyone else feel me on this?? --concert started at 8:00pm --tickets started at £4.50 --here is the full setlist from this evening: Bombs Away Festival (I Want To) Fly Away Young Blood Big Iron Salt Lake City Easy To Slip > Bahama Mama > Me, Without You I Found Love Book Of Rules Man Smart, Woman Smarter This Time Forever Shade Of Grey > Heaven Help the Fool > Drums > Josephine E: Thunder & Lightning --I added more detail to the band members info --corrected a couple song titles toward the way that they appear on the original albums & t05 to its actual title --added more detail to the setlist info & venue info --this venue began its life in 1932 as "Gaumont Palace" (1932-1962); then "Hammersmith Odeon" (1962-1993); then "Labatt's Apollo Hammersmith" (1993-1996); then "Hammersmith Apollo" (1996-2002); then "Carling Apollo Hammersmith" (2002-2006); then "Hammersmith Apollo" (2006-2009); then "HMV Hammersmith Apollo" (2009-2012); then "Hammersmith Apollo" (2013); then "Eventim Apollo" (2013-present [2026]) --https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammersmith_Apollo --I added the md5 checksums to the text file --added pics of the venue, adverts & ticket stub from the concert
