recorded by talbe1019 Source: WMMS-FM Broadcast > Hi-Fi VHS Transfer: Hi-Fi VHS Master Recording of Radio Broadcast > CDR > EAC > SHN SHN > xACT 1.59 > FLAC (level 8) Comments: A nice early Cracker broadcast, live and uncensored. David Lowery might have had a bit of fire burning within' that day, as evidenced by some of the colorful language contained within the songs performed in the setlist....i.e. Don't Fuck Me Up With Peace and Love, and a nice scorching cover of Fuckin' Up by Neil Young. This is a great quality show. The broadcast signal drops for about a half second in the beginning of the second song, but quality is perfect otherwise. Show is not complete - The radio station cut away just as the band was starting Eurotrash Girl, and with some of the songs performed earlier in the broadcast, it's amazing that they didn't cut away earlier! I would imagine that Eurotrash Girl was probably the last song though - it's a pretty lengthy set otherwise. shntool results: length expanded size cdr WAVE problems filename 0:18.71 3342236 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t01.flac 3:09.14 33372572 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t02.flac 3:32.74 37570892 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t03.flac 3:48.20 40266284 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t04.flac 3:18.08 34946060 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t05.flac 5:25.05 57341804 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t06.flac 5:23.48 57090140 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t07.flac 6:27.63 68415020 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t08.flac 5:13.71 55380236 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t09.flac 3:25.13 36192620 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t10.flac 5:01.30 53167004 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t11.flac 4:10.70 44264684 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t12.flac 4:19.19 45732332 --- -- ---xx Cracker1992-05-12t13.flac 53:34.56 567081884 B (totals for 13 files, 0.6911 overall compression ratio)

When originally uploaded track 2 ("Someday") contained a major dropout in signal a few seconds in. This has now been repaired by pasting in one beat from an earlier part of the song. Luckily this edit seems to match what was played on the original broadcast, as the fit is perfect. ORIGINAL NOTES: A nice early Cracker broadcast, live and uncensored.
