Recording gear used:
Crown SASS P Mk 2 stereo PZM (pressure zone microphone) & Crown CM-700 cardioid condensers (2), all mounted on a stand 12 feet tall at the drink rail appr. 60 feet from the stage. The PZM mic was pre-amped via the Sound Devices 744T main mic inputs and the CM-700 cards were pre-amped via a Shure FP-42 mixer and fed into the line in side of the 744T. The recording was made in 24/48 resolution. Post recording: copy & paste the files from the 744T into an external storage device and mix the 4 channels down to 2 stereo channels in Audacity, then finish the mastering in Samplitude 7.2 (tracking, dithering & downsampling, fades). The PZM mic was aimed toward the stage & floor PA stacks, and the CM-700 cards were aimed upward at the upper tier PA stacks (hung from the ceiling). In the mixing, the PZM tracks were at 9db over average while the CM-700s were at 12 db  over average, giving the slight empansis to the cardioid tracks.
