View Notes- Billed as Summer Session Gov't Mule - Moe - String Cheese - Galactic. - Originally scheduled for the Starlight Summerstage. - Playing order was Gov't Mule, Keller Williams (tweener), String Cheese Incident, Kevin Kinney (tweener), Galactic, Gibb Droll (tweener), and moe. - No encore was played. - I have uploaded the Keller Williams, String Cheese Incident, and moe. sets to the Live Music Archive as well. - This is one of the few occasions when the audience recording sounds better that being there in person. The Egyptian Room was a very large and empty room except for the stage and the soundboard. The wall opposite the stage was made of a hard surface that had a mural painted on it. The sound from the speakers on the stage bounced off the rear wall creating a split second "echo" that smeared out the music. Everyone's directional mics rejected (mostly) the echoed sound from the rear wall. I was amazed by how much better the audio recording sounded. The show experience was still very nice. :-) - I tweet whenever I record & post a new show to archive.org. You can follow me at @M_A_Frasca. - I also post on Bluesky Social: @frasca.bsky.social - Many thanks to Galactic and The Murat Temple for allowing taping. - Support live music and buy the merch! “Lordy, I hope there are tapes.”
