View NotesVery solid set from Godspeed in Marseille. The venue was packed and felt like a 1.000 degrees. I think this is the kind of thing that's always happened when i saw Godspeed, except when i first saw them in 1998 (already twelve years ago ?!?). The setlist is quite satisfying and you will also hear some brilliant reworkings of some songs' parts. Sound was very nice and clear, but I feel like it's a little bit too bass heavy on the recording (should anyone wish to correct it...). Anywho, it felt great to see the band "reunited" and still kicking ass. You obviously won't avoid audience banter, but most of it isn't long and between the song. To be honest, I was expecting way worse. Hope you'll enjoy this one.
