Show Notes: This was a pop-up show that wasn't announced until the previous evening. Grass Fed Mule went on around 6:20 MST. During the first encore the band performed unplugged in front of the stage on the dance floor. For the second encore the band moved to the bar where it was announced a fan named Thomas was celebrating his birthday. Both encore songs were performed standing by Thomas. [1] "New River Train", "For What It's Worth", "Happy Birthday Thomas" and "On The Run" were performed unplugged. Taper Notes: There was no sound guy present due to the impromptu nature of the gig so I actually doubled as the sound guy for the set. Mics were setup DFC and pointed at each stack raised around 8' the air. During the first encore the band performed unplugged surrounding the mic rig which was lowered to around 4'. The second encore was very spontaneous so I simply held up the Zoom and capture it with the internal mics. Thanks to Grass Fed Mule and Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple for being cool with taping.
