Notes: Little Feat opened for Marshall Tucker Band. Third billing was the Charlie Daniels Band. ------------------ Restoration of SHN ID 109440 Sony TC-40 with built-in mono mic Location: 6th row center Taped by Sal Capitano ------------------ Editor's Comments: This is a decent audience recording, good for the period, The master was possibly a mono recording that was later dubbed using stereo equipment. Much of the distortion in the source recording is caused by the phase-offset. This restoration provides a more balanced and centered stereo image with a lot less distortion, and eliminates many of the undesirable transient noises. Restoration: - corrected DC offset errors - separated into 3 fragments at tape flips (//tf) - restored clipped peaks and balanced channels - repaired clicks, pops, and crackle - very lightly decrackled - dampened applause between songs - phase offset corrections: Fragments A+C -0.17 msec, Fragment B -0.15 msec - joined fragments, edited tape flip transitions and tracked
