Recording Notes: It's been over 2 years since the pandemic started and I recorded shows -and I screwed up this one. I don't know which buttons got pressed in my hip pack but the first half of this show was not recorded.
I would have chosen to NOT seed this - BUT - I don't think you'll have a chance to hear Los Lobos in any of the mainland recordings where they incorporate and have ukulele solos during their songs. 
So, unfortunately, I missed about 45 minutes of this show but I noticed the recorder problem just as Vince Esquire was invited on the stage.
Vince Esquire is an unsung guitar hero in the Hawaiian Islands. Bill Kreutzmann has said that when Vince plays with the band Kanekoa (who opened for this show) they are the Grateful Dead of the Pacific. Vince has also played with the Allman Brothers and Little feat as well as many more. 
The first two songs of this show that I was able to capture feature Los Lobos giving him extended solos.
I wish I could have recorded the entire show but sometimes we all f**k up.
Take it if you need it, if you don't just pass it on...
