Lineage:
B&K4021s (w/windscreens, centered ~40’ from P.A., ~8’ height on t-bar clamped to stand) -> Sound Devices 722 (@24/96; Gain @ 31.1); FLAC File processing in SoundForge 10.0c (loud clap removal on S1T2 only); Tracked in CDWav
Taper Notes:
View Notes* = w/electronic synthesized percussion Removed 5 unfortunately out-of-time loud local claps during the opening notes of Plane Crash. There was a tiny bit of loud bass distortion that sounds like it was coming out of the PA for the first few notes of Plane Crash. I fixed the volume on this but didn't attempt to try and "fix" the bass distortion. It was cleared up quickly, though. Recorded by Eric Vandercar, who came out of virtual taper retirement to record this for you folks. Mastered and tracked by Scott Bernstein. There is a normal CD quality version of this recording with MP3s and streaming available at http://www.archive.org/details/moe2011-01-07.bk4021.flac16 Follow me on Twitter for almost daily postings of live music downloads and concert photography http://www.twitter.com/scott_bernstein

View Notes* = w/electronic synthesized percussion This show can easily fit on 2 discs if you put the tuning and Blue Jeans Pizza (1st 2 tracks from the 2nd set) on disc 1.
