I am grateful that this band is still around. Right around the time of this show, I wasn't so sure they would be. This show takes place right around the time that lead singer John Davis and the band are discovering that, in one of 90s music's cruelest ironies, their song about being a one-hit wonder was about to become their reality. "Destination Ursa Major," the band's second single, is "dedicated to all the radio stations that won't play it." Davis is clearly frustrated by it all, and deserves to be. Regardless of the path he has taken to get the band back together, I'm glad he has done it. For those (the majority) who only know "Sucked Out," the band has some awesome fucking songs besides that one. Give them a listen. This one is a good place to start- mostly material from "Regretfully Yours", all of it great. Random fact: I believe I can take credit for starting the first (very humble) Superdrag fansite, "Dragnet", right around this time. Thanks to everyone who read it back then! Luckily for the band, their new website is much nicer! For more information on Superdrag, please visit: Superdrag.com.
