View NotesShow Notes: Bella Madre! Memorial Day Weekend was a good one this year. Lots of great bands and a fun time at Harmony Park. The Big Wu played an afternoon set to a very solid crowd who emerged from their shaded abodes to get some Wu Luvin and that they got. You'll have to pardon a bit of "lyrical creativity" especially in the first couple songs but it's well worth the incredible jamming and energy that was brought to the stage. I can't freaking wait for BWFRX where we get a whole lot o night-time headlining Wu of the caliber they've been bringing all spring. YAY! This is a SBD recording.. y'all may be aware that I'm a big fan of AUD. There is a certain coldness to it that you just can't get around with a straight board. That being said this is SBD crispy and damn well mixed by our family engineer Frey as well so... (plus my pre-amp did an excellent job of down-leveling the extremely hot outputs of the board to something that my laptop could handle gracefully :) PS: This is the HEAVILY edited version. It is just short enough that with overburn you should be able to fit it onto a CD. Enjoy! -Nate
