Absolutely Appreciated & sounds wonderful!! --levels are raised during the first minute of d1t02 --Jazz Is Dead were opening for KVHW at this show & were on tour with them in the opening slot...now THAT is a killer night of live music, y'all!! --Jimmy Herring also sat in with KVHW for their entire performance on this evening because Ray White did not show up --2 recordings of the KVHW performance from this night can also be obtained at the LMA: --Jimmy Stiefel's '(Stage) AKG C61/CK1 -> Tascam DA-P1': https://archive.org/details/kvhw1999-04-30c61 --Sandy Alexander's 'Neumann km254 > DAP1': https://archive.org/details/kvhw1999-04-30.shnf --I added the band members info...no Jeff Sipe at this show --corrected some songs toward how they appear on the original albums --added more detail to the setlist --added more detail to the venue info --venue opened in 1905 & was named "Hill Opera House" (1905-192?); in early 1920s it was nearly destroyed by fire & forced to shut down; By 1925 is was restored & opened as a movie theater (not sure if it still bore the "Hill Opera House" name then); around 1935 is was purchased by California Movie Theater & renamed "California Theater" (1935-1957); then another fire on 1957-08-05 & restored again & renamed "Showcase Theater" & began hosting live concerts (1957-1982); then "The Phoenix Theater" (1982-present [2023]) --https://www.thephoenixtheater.com/ --https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_Theater --created an ffp checksum file --added the ffp fingerprints to the text file --added some pics of the venue
