Show Notes: This has gotta be one of my favorite parts of Minneapolis during the summer. It varies each year how often and for how long but the city (and various radio stations) throw free shows in Peavey Plaza right in the middle of downtown. The bands tend to be good and it's just beautiful (unless it rains :) This was a straight board recording recorded to Andy Frey's laptop. I got it rolling and baby sat until I had to leave to see Clapton/Winwood and then drive to Phish (I know.. poor me ;-) There is a little problem in the beginning.. Don Shelby (local TV personality for those of you not from around here) sat in for one of the first songs.. shortly thereafter the recording just.. stopped. Not sure what happened but it meant we lost a large chunk of his song. The rest of the show is fine but that makes it incomplete 8-{.. oh well. Sorry Don! SO.. this show has its ups.. its downs.. its shaky and its solid. There's at least something in here that will make everyone happy and probably at least something that will make everyone cringe. What can I say.. it's a Wu show :) Enjoy! -Nate
